Year 6 RP

Well done 6RP! So far, we have all been here this week giving us a chance to win the attendance award. Can we keep it up though all week? We shall have to see...

Highlight of the week: Emma Cruces (a local journalist) paid us a visit to talk about her work. In addition, she discussed ways in which we can create a perfect article. Can you remember the success criteria for writing a top quality article?

War poem by Raees and Rutaba.

WORLD WAR 2

Dangerous bombs committing suicide
Towards the destructive city,
Innocent people getting killed
            Oh, what a pity!

      Air raid sirens
  Screaming through the air,
                     People start to flee
No one even stopping to stare

Guns shooting bullets
Bombs punching the house,
Everyone is scared
Even a cute little mouse

Freedom has faded away
No one likes the war,
Destruction has taken over
Everyone’s wounds are sore
