South Lakes Safari

We had a fantastic day at South Lakes Safari!

We saw some amazing animals and Miss Patel and Mr Parry

definitely did not lose any of the children in our class

(even though Mr Parry was threatening to

feed us to the lions!)

Miss Patel and all the staff were very grateful the day was

full of sunshine and not rain!

We were all very excited!

We finally arrived after a VERY long journey!

Here are some of the animals we saw? What are they called?

Then we saw a dancing peacock! Look at the beautiful feathers!

We spotted animals from the story of Handa's Surprise!

Can you see what animals are lurking? They are good at camouflaging!

We finally had lunch and was treated to some ice cream AS WELL!!

Before we left the giraffes finally came out!

Then it was finally time to go home! So we all played sleeping lions. Some were better than others!

However, Mr Parry did not join in! He was checking his eyelids for holes!

Although it seems like Mr Parry was having a dream/nightmare! Surely not this!

These are the videos that were taken.
